BLS centres in the UAE operate in Dubai and Abu Dhabi . You must book an appointment online through the BLS portal before visiting.

How do you book a BLS appointment for a Spain visa?

Appointments are booked through the BLS International online portal for Spain. You select your centre (Dubai or Abu Dhabi), choose an available slot, and pay the BLS service charge at the time of booking. Appointment slots can fill up weeks in advance during peak travel periods such as summer and Christmas, so book as early as the 90-day advance application window allows.

On the day of your appointment, arrive on time with your complete file in the order specified by BLS. Bring originals and copies of every document. • Insufficient funds: Bank statements that do not show enough balance for the duration of the trip, or statements with sudden unexplained deposits just before application.

• Weak ties to the UAE: Applicants without a stable employment record, a long-tenured residence visa, or property in the UAE may be seen as higher risk of overstaying.
• Purpose not established: A vague cover letter, no hotel bookings, or an itinerary that does not match the dates on the flight reservation raises doubt about the genuineness of the visit.
• Previous Schengen overstays or refusals: These appear in the Schengen Information System and will be scrutinised. Any previous immigration issue must be disclosed and explained.
