Personal Documents
Every Germany applicant needs these, whatever your nationality.
- Passport valid for at least 3 months beyond your return date, with two blank pages
- Two recent passport photos, 35mm x 45mm, on a white background
- Emirates ID, copies of both sides
- Copy of your UAE residence visa
- Completed Schengen application form, which we fill in for you
Financial Documents
The embassy needs to see that you can pay for the trip yourself, and that you have solid reasons to come back to the UAE.
- Three months of bank statements, stamped by your bank
- Salary certificate on company letterhead showing your role and salary
- No Objection Certificate from your employer confirming your leave is approved
- Payslips for the last three months if you are employed
- Trade licence copy if you run your own business
- Audited accounts or tax returns if you are self-employed
Travel Documents
These show the embassy a trip that is actually planned. You will need a flight reservation and a hotel booking; we tell you exactly what format the embassy expects.

What Germany Asks For Specifically
These are the Germany requirements that catch out applicants who prepared a generic Schengen file.
- A completed VIDEX form from videx.diplo.de, printed and signed. The generic Schengen form is not accepted
- An application date no more than 180 days before you travel, which Germany enforces strictly
- Submission at the centre matching your emirate of residence, not the one nearest you
- Passport valid at least three months beyond the date you leave the Schengen Area
