Greece Visa Document Requirements

Personal Documents

Every Greece applicant needs these, whatever your nationality.

  • Passport valid for at least 3 months beyond your return date, with two blank pages
  • Two recent passport photos, 35mm x 45mm, on a white background
  • Emirates ID, copies of both sides
  • Copy of your UAE residence visa
  • Completed Schengen application form, which we fill in for you
Financial Documents

The embassy needs to see that you can pay for the trip yourself, and that you have solid reasons to come back to the UAE.

  • Three months of bank statements, stamped by your bank
  • Salary certificate on company letterhead showing your role and salary
  • No Objection Certificate from your employer confirming your leave is approved
  • Payslips for the last three months if you are employed
  • Trade licence copy if you run your own business
  • Audited accounts or tax returns if you are self-employed
Travel Documents

These show the embassy a trip that is actually planned. You will need a flight reservation and a hotel booking; we tell you exactly what format the embassy expects.

Most Greece visa refusals are administrative rather than substantive. The recurring causes are a photo at the wrong dimensions, bank statements that do not line up with the declared funds, and a missing or out of date employer letter. Standard processing is 15 calendar days from your VFS appointment date. That is set by the embassy, not by us, so no package makes the decision come back faster. What the packages change is how quickly your file is ready to submit: 1 to 3 business days on Concierge, 3 to 4 on Basic and Standard. Expect longer waits over July and August, Christmas and the Eid holidays, when embassies are busiest.
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons people come to us. We start with your refusal notice to work out the exact grounds. Most refusals can be answered with a stronger financial picture, a clearer cover letter, or corrected paperwork. Second applications do well when the first one has been properly analysed.
Most embassies want colour copies alongside the originals so they can be checked at the VFS counter. Bank statements need your bank's stamp. Your passport goes in with the application and comes back with the decision. We give you a checklist built for the embassy you are applying to.
Yes. Schengen embassies and their visa centres accept flight reservations, sometimes called itineraries or dummy tickets, as long as they can be verified on the airline's system. What matters is that it carries a real booking reference you can look up on the airline's own website. Your package includes the flight reservation, so we book it in the format your embassy expects and hand it over ready to submit.
A standard Schengen visa lets you move freely across all 29 Schengen states while it is valid. You apply through the country where you will spend the most nights, so you would apply to Greece if that is your main destination. If the nights are split evenly, apply through your first point of entry.
Embassy and VFS fees are non-refundable for everyone, through any provider, because the embassy sets that rule rather than us. Our Concierge package includes a free resubmission with a revised file. Basic and Standard clients get a written analysis of the refusal and the specific changes to make before reapplying.
